Complete your training

Work through the four sections below. Tap a section to expand it. Keep copies of every certificate and acknowledgment for your records.

First, review the general caregiver training topics. Then take the 40-question Core Training & Knowledge Assessment. The assessment opens with an access code that United Home Care emails you. You can grade your answers and retake it up to 3 times; a score of 80% or higher earns a Certificate of Completion you can print or save. A copy is automatically emailed to you and to the office.

Colorado's online Person-Centered Thinking course reinforces client choice, dignity, routines and individualized support.

  1. Open the CO.TRAIN course and create a free learner account (or sign in).
  2. Enroll in the Person-Centered Thinking compilation and complete all required components.
  3. Save your completion certificate or transcript.
When you finish, email your completion certificate to a United Home Care administrator at alexandra@unitedhcc.com and keep a copy for yourself.

Colorado direct care employees must complete the free state-administered Know Your Rights course and provide the certificate to United Home Care.

  1. Open the Direct Care Careers site and register as a Direct Care Worker (or sign in).
  2. Find Colorado's CDLE Know Your Rights course and finish all required modules.
  3. Download and save your certificate of completion.
Deadlines: employed before Oct 1, 2026 → complete by Mar 31, 2027; hired on/after Oct 1, 2026 → within six months of hire. Email your certificate to alexandra@unitedhcc.com and keep a copy.

Give the Colorado rights documents a last glance, then complete and e-sign the acknowledgment. Your signed form is sent directly to the office.
